What can you do to help the earth (and yourselves) get healthy, and stay healthy?
What can you start doing today?
What can you do from now on?
—-Before you answer, search the internet for EARTH DAY information.
—-THEN, come back here and let us know what you found out.
SOMETHING WE COULD DO TO SAVE MOTHER EARTH IS THAT IF YOU STOP THE DRIPPING WATER IN YOUR BATHROOM AND KITCHEN THAT WE COULD SAVE UP TO 500 GALLONS OF WATER AND BEING ON WATER RESTRICTS TODAY THAT DRIPPING WATER WOULD SAVE US ALOT.
Things I can do to help the Earth are just simple basic things I do on a daily basics. For instance,
recylcling, help picking up trash, using less water, and so much more.
THE END.
I also saw that site connie saw and it saves alot of energy.
Things I can do to help the earth is just basic things like turning off the light when im not in the room, use less water to brush my teeth, recycle, and much much more.
hey Mr. Moshe’ I did not know where else to post this, but what is your e-mail address? i could not find it any where.
I found on http://www.earthday.com/do/Home, that if we don’t take care of our planet many things can happen: pollution, homelessness, crime, ect. Also if we don’t take care of Earth then animals and plants might go extinct and if they die out then we die out. We, as in all the people on this planet, have to recycle more and maybe plant a few more trees around our homes or parks.
Some things that I can do to help save Earth is, like Connie said, turn off the lights when I’m not in a room, use products that will give off less waste, and instead of driving in a car somewhere close to my house, I can walk.
I found out that webpages with lighter, brighter colors, like white, yellow, and pastels use more enery than webpages with darker colors. On the website that read this, it gave the unofficial website of google. Called Blackle.com, it has a black background rather than a white one, which would use less energy.
I also found a prediction of what the future will be like. Here is what I found most interesting…
In 2040 the Arctic Ocean will be ice free in the summer.
They predict that by 2050 glaciers will shrink by 30-70% and one fourth of earth’s plant and vertabrate animals will become extinct.
By 2200 an Earth Day will become 0.12 milliseconds shorter because of rising temperatures that will cause waters to expand towards the poles.
I can help the earth today and from now on by conserving energy. For example, basic things like turning off the lights when I’m not in the room can help.
