The purpose my legend served for the people of this culture, is that it was a story that has been pasted down from generation to generation that the people believe in. The legend of Tan-gun is believed because the story was something widely accepted to the people of North Korea.

My legend got people of my culture to stay away from the creek which they know call the Wokun meaning knife and if they ever go to the creek and try to get the knife out of the creek it will always slip from their grip.

My legends purpose is to show the many hauntings of the lighthouse. There are many, and most were trajic accidents.

-John Henry comes from United States, West Virgina
-John Henry teaches people that machines do not do everything in the whole world and that human could do everything a machine could do. John henry aslo proved everything he said by beating a machine to keep his job.
-This applied to my life by that technology does not have to do everything thing i could do my own thing in my own ways and still get the same result. So it made me relized how much humans use technology and really dont have to.

The thing that my legend taught the people of my culture is that it is better toplan ahead rather than to wait and see for things to happen. Also, that is you don’t plan ahead, you must be ready to think fast.
The way that I can apply what I’ve learned from my legend and/or group to my life is that I most definetly should plan ahead rather than to procrastinate, which I do. Also, in future group projects I can appply my knowledge of knowing how to work together with a big group and still be able to be done by the time I have to turn it in.
