It’s a French-Canadian legend from Ontario.
My legend probably taught the lesson to not make a deal with the devil and to not agrre to things that are unexplainable. Many wierd and unusual events happened in my legend.
I can apply what I’ve learned in my legend to real life because it taught me one, to not do anything I don’t want to. Also, not to do things cultually inappropriate.

I know this because, in the story rabbit bragged all the time about his gorgeous tail, until fox schemed up a plan to get rid of his tail. That shows you that modesty is always the answer.

legend: Birth Of The Jersey Devil
This is a US legend from New Jersey
This legend influenced the people in my culture because now they think that if there is a shipwreck, the Jersey devil caused it. Also, they also think that the jersey devil curses crops and livestock. Another thing they might think is that if there is anybody that practices witchcraft, they will give birth to a devil.
You can apply this to your life because you can use it as an explanation on why things happened. For example, another US legend is Babe The Blue Ox, it states that he made the Mississippi river. So I use this explanation if anyone asks me about it.

My legend is Robin Hood and it came from France.
It influenced the people of my culture by making movies, selling toys, and publishing comics/books. He was a hero to the children and they would try to be like him and help out (not steal, just help around).
I can apply this legend to my life because everyone can make a difference. They can help out the community by just picking up trash off the ground. It doesn’t matter how small, as long as you did somthing.

I can apply what I have learned from my legend to everyday life because every day, new discussion topics and even rumors are started. This legend has taught me not to believe everything that I hear. Believing everything I am told could lead to problems.

The Lion and the Mouse taught my people to very important lessons which are to not judge a book by a cover because the lion did not believe the little mosuse could save him. Also, big things come in small packages, because the little mouse did save the lion by setting the lion free by gnawing on the rope which is something the big and feared lion could not do himself.
In my own life I could apply the lessona learned in this legens as well. For example, sometimes I don’t think my little sister can do certain things, such as pouring her own milk but she always does anyway, so if I just trust her time would not be waated worrying

Answer: The lesson that the legend taught the people of the culture was that never to judge anything or anyone by their cover, and also what goes around comes around.
~ The way I can apply what I learned from the legend into my life is by no matter how much you may “think” a person is the opposite of you, and that they are disturbing just because of others around you, get to know them first before you judge their them. The Incredible Hulk served the people of the U.S. as a major icon in the superhero universe.
As stated in my project, hulk’s strength and pure power are amoung no other in the marvel world. That’s a big deal.
Ways that this legend can be appllied is by understanding the fact that this icon’s strength comes not from the heart, but from huge muscles and adrenaline rushes. So this basically says that if you want to be strong…..u need to pump iron, and get angry.
