Hi, what’s up? Hey, I was wondering you think you can help me? On finding informatio on the hound of the baskervilles
I’m responding to Alexandria R.
I agree, Holmes and Watson are like sidekicks and they both value each others opinions, and they make a great team.
In their relationship, Holmes plays the role of the older brother to Watson’s younger brother. Holmes values Watson’s opinion very highly and he knows that Watson himself is not a genius, ” It may be that you yourself are not luminous, but you are a conductor of light”. Yet Watson helps Holmes show his genius by giving him the facts and all of the possibilities in the case and/or problem. Holmes is important to Watson because with Holmes, Watson sees that he is wrong and takes constructive criticism.
Respond to Emma W:
I agree; Watson isn’t always 100% correct, and his ‘hypothisis’ isnt always correct either, but it does help Holmes solve misteries, and Watson’s oppinion matters.
Watson is important to Holmes because Watson’s oppinion helps him solve misteries. Without Watson, Holmes couldnt solve some of the misteries as quickly/easily as he does. After reading some the book I can tell that Holmes and Watson have a great friendship because they always need each other to solve a mystery. Its like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, they can’t be completed without the other. Holmes values Watson’s opinion highly because Watson’s thoughts are important to a big solution like when Holmes said “Watson you may not be luminous but you are a conductor of light”. Holmes is important to Watson because he basically guides him and teaches him everytime they solve a mystery.Watson is important to Holmes because Watson helps disover the solution and everything. They both need eachother.
